Communication

My career is really very varied.  I might be giving an in-depth private reading in the morning, and providing psychic entertainment at a nightclub in the evening.  I like it that way.  I believe that tarot, and psychic tools and gifts in general, are meant to be used in both deeply introspective and playfully lighthearted ways.  And I believe that both ways are very healing.

One central theme that runs through my career is communication.  A psychic reading is communication between the reader and the querent, and also, hopefully, between the  spirit guides and higher conciousness of both parties. 

The tarot is a great communicator.  It facillates communication between the concious mind, subconcious mind and higher conciousness.  It creates a conduit for communication with those in spirit.  It is a wonderful tool for enhancing communication in relationships. 

In the past few months I have really been working on stretching my communication skills, especially as a writer and a public speaker.

Just recently, I got the news that my first book, Fortune Stellar: What Every Professional Tarot Reader Needs to Know, will be released by Jupiter Gardens Press on November 1, 2010.  I am excited about this project, and will be communicating a lot more about it soon.

I was thrilled to be able to present a workshop based on this book to the South Florida Tarot Association in July.  Also in July, I was asked to return to the Wise Women's Wonderment Group as their featured speaker.  This time I did a presentation called The Stories of our Lives.

In October, I will be one of the featured speakers at the Women's Radiance Celebration and Empowerment Summit 2010.  This great event will be held October 2, 2010 at PGA National Resort.  My topic will be Finding Your Core.  For more information, and to make your reservation for this great event, go to http://womensradiance.com/.

I am sure there will be more writing projects, and more speaking engagements, in the coming months.  I am excited by all the new opportunities for growth, learning, creativity and ommunication.
