We opened our meeting by learning an original 6-card spread by Christiana
called the Lamplighter
Spread. We then played a game from the Tarot Games book called "Tea
Party." Each person was dealt two cards, a cup and a saucer. The
card that represented the cup was interpreted as "what I need to drink at this
time", the saucer card represented the supporting energies around us.
In order to better understand how the cards modify each other, students read
for each other answering specific questions with only two cards, one card as the
answer and the second card as a modifier.
We discussed the concept that one card can mean many different things within
the same spread, and be accurate in each interpretation. We discussed
trends that might show up within a spread, and how they would be interpreted. We
listed combinations of cards that might have a specific interpretation.
| Interpretation |

We used the 11-card Celtic
Cross as an example of interpreting a spread not just by position and card
interpretation, but using trends, card combinations and blends as well.
Our final exercise involved finding our Astral number, and corresponding Soul
and personality cards within the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana.
