For our meeting on the 11th of June, we met in the outer waiting room and sat
in a circle, rather than working classroom style as usual. We began our
meeting with Reading Introductions, we broke into pairs and read for each other,
using the information that we gleaned from the readings to introduce our partner
to the group.
Next, each person wrote definitions for a series of cards that were placed in
strategic positions around the office. We discussed what energy each card
might lend to its environment. This is one form of tarot magick, using the
energy of a card to augment the energy of its environment.
An altar was sent in the middle of the room with Fool cards and Magician
cards from many decks. We looked at the card, and discussed which ones we
liked, and didn't like. We discussed the Fool as an energy that leads into
the Magician, and meditated on the relationship of those two cards.
We did some divination magick, cognitively choosing a card to represent what
we would like to bring into our lives, and a card to represent what we would
like to remove from our lives. Then we each drew three cards at random to
give us information on what tools we would use to accomplish these
intentions.
